GABRIELA’S ROOM IN SCANDINAVIAN STYLE

Gabriela is a small beautiful girl with long, curly hair and a sensitive character, her room is designed in a Scandinavian style and we have included the millenary practice of Feng Shui, where the five vital elements in the life of a human being are included with the idea of keeping a balance and harmony in Gabriela’s room according to my Feng Shui compass. This space is found in the Northeast part of the house. We made sure that Gabriela’s Qua energetic point is in harmony with her room and with her. The bed is situated facing the south to obtain the best flow of energy for the little girl.  The form of the bed represents a house, it is fabricated with natural wood, which feeds Gabriela positively, and because of the bed’s shape, it helps Gabriela stay in her nest, making her feel more secure and protected.

Feng Shui’s elements:

Wood: Bed, shelves, bedside table, drawers, toy boxes, tables and chairs.
Fire: Stuffed animals, pedestal lamp and decorative string lights.
Earth: Neutral colors, charcoal colored ceramic floors, ceramic lamp base, globe.
Metal: Off white furniture, metal mala beads (used to meditate) for book shelve decorations, gray colored rug.
Water: Tulle color that hangs over the bed, the lamp with glass drops, bedcover color.
 Space: 182 square feet
Room color: Beach gloss Benjamine More
Floor: Dark Ceramic
Furniture color: Frostine White Benjamine More
Windows: Cellular shades that open from the top to the bottom and velvet window curtains in a neutral bleach color.

LIVING ROOM IN NEUTRAL COLORS

The objective of this project was to create an elegant and feminine style. The area was very small and the sectional sofa very large, so we decided to rearrange the furniture. To get a more visual space, we painted the room in a neutral gray color. We added silk curtains from floor to roof in a similar tone, getting with this a more formal living room. For a refined look, we used sofas in gray and beige colors and cushions with patterns and soft textures. We placed a beautiful mirror table over a modern gray rug to contrast with the furniture and decorated the walls with metal finish art.
Area: 169 square feetColor in walls: Ralph Lauren’s 1216Floor: Ivory color tileWindows: Off White color shuttersCurtains: Gray neutral silkAccessories: Mostly class, metal and mirrorArt: Modern, abstract

TIFFANY COLOR BEDROOM

Beautiful space painted in Tiffany blue. The classic style furniture made of heavy wood was painted in a cherry color. To enhance the color of the room, we painted the furniture in a neutral gray-blue color, the furniture came to life! Without it, I never would have noticed the beauty of the wood. Undoubtedly, the color that we chose was a great decision. We included a desk and a chair in a tiffany color with a rustic finish for schoolwork. We added light cushions on the windows from floor to ceiling and a swing, and with modern designs we created a space for friend gathering. The accessories and decorations of this beautiful room are modern.

COMPLETE KITCHEN RENOVATION

Anna y Nicholas are a young and happy couple that are focused on raising their first beautiful baby girl and at the same time looking to renovate their home which was built in 1968 located in East El Paso, TX. The previous design in the kitchen was very small and the space was closed, with a poor illumination, cabinets and floor. They were intact for more than 25 years and the way it was designed and arranged was not adapted for this time. Anna loves to cook for Nicholas and also, they like open, bright and colorful spaces, well illuminated areas as well as quality in their kitchen furniture.

Space: 165 square feet
Cabinets: Wood on white Benjamine More.
Floors: Ceramic, chocolate color in wood design, marazzi montagna, 6x24 inch.
Black Splash Grecian white hexagon 12x12 inch polished marble mesh.
Kitchen cover finish: Calacata white.

HOME OFFICE

This space is infused with the style of the person that lives there. She is a teacher and at the end of her work day when she is at home, she always has things left to do. Initially this room was a guest room, but after realizing her profession she decided she could benefit more from the room if she made it a home office. One of her daughters practices the violin, this space would be ideal for her practice.
We changed all the previous design, we used a cellar, took away the doors and turned into a bookshelf and an exhibitor of decorative ornaments that the family loves. She likes really light colors, a simple girl but at the same time very modern, and this space projects her personality greatly. We placed velvet curtains from floor to ceiling in a dark grey color, couches upholstered with fabric and cushions in blue tones, executive turquoise blue chair made of velvet, pedestal lamp in modern silver art color blue, and grey and blue tones. It gives a modern and feminine touch to this spacious office.

NEUTRALLY COLORED AND ELEGANT

This was my client’s assignment… Cecilia is a pretty woman that enjoys interior design greatly, she loves to have her house neat and arranged nicely, and she wanted something elegant for her dining room.
The space is reduced, and from the small dining room we kept only the table and placed cladded high chairs, 4 in SoHo grey and the two laterals in an architectural off-white color, we painted the walls of the room in a neutral grey and placed silk curtains in the same tone of the walls. The intention was to enhance the dining table’s accessories. The buffet table and the dining table are both black on wood; all the glam and elegance that Cecilia wanted. We placed roof niches where we installed wallpaper in silk with leaf designs in neutral colors like the walls and curtains.
To illuminate the space, a modern metal chandelier. In the dining table a runner with natural textures in natural colors and on it, high white candles in cut crystal vases and two high vases also in crystal but more modern. We placed silk flowers in a neutral color, same as the rest of the room.
The change was truly beautiful, elegant and glamorous. Just like Cecilia wanted.

KARINA’S BEDROOM

156 square foot room for beautiful Karina, a little girl who loves to explore her creativity. We painted the headboard and the foot board of her bed as well as the drawer unit in color studio white, and decorated this space so she could play house, have a tea party and play with her dolls. The decorative elements have textures that stimulate the imagination and the senses. The room lighting is pink, it has gray and pink Celtic cushions with texture, and a quilt, also in pink (pale). Her teddy bears rest in little armchairs, there is a modern rug to mark the boundaries of the play area and another colorful and round one under the little table. This is a delightful room, both day and night; the energy is filled with creativity and gentleness that reflect sweet little Karina’s personality.

TRADITIONAL MAIN BEDROOM

Samuel and Imelda are the occupants of this main bedroom, a nice and united couple.
Samuel wanted a practical space with his couch to watch TV as well as to keep his bedroom columns. Imelda was looking for a more elegant room, the windows were installed with roman shades. We placed velvet curtains from floor to roof in a brown color. The room walls are a 452- Ralph Lauren beige, the accessories on their majority are crystals and in a white color. We placed mirrors with a metallic textured frame, white bedspreads with neutral colors. The cushions with elegant textures, some with stone embroidery, they helped to make this space more elegant.

DECORATION STUDIO

In their majority, all the furniture is dark black and chocolate brown. The small sofa is a loveseat upholstered in navy blue velvet, the cushions are in velvet colors with designs and other textures, the space also counts with a ghost chair. The accessories in their majority are geometric, metallic and with nature from the region, creating a small, modern and sophisticated decoration studio.

ECLECTICA BEDROOM

The rock collection that the lovely girl that sleeps and lives in this room owns was the inspiration for this project. She truly loves nature. Rocks, flowers, she loves vivid and bright colors. Like on all of the projects, all her ideals were included. Her mother asked us to keep an antique bedroom for her daughter, which we painted in a lavender color and the seats in color moldings. In the table drawers, purple circles were painted in the side.
The room was painted in peach color 5643-23c Benjamin More, and on the head wall, blue 345-43 colored lines and 345-23 pink. Floor to roof curtains in a lavender color and textures on the top part of the curtain. In grey we have the cushions and also in lavender and white, a chapel was made with her favorite flowers in purple colors. On the frontal part of the bed hangs a tulle from the roof that by the night it gets illuminated. We also have iron candles formed in a traditional style.

COUNTRY HOME

Beautiful Santa Fe style home is found in the New Mexico area. The owners get together here on the weekends with the family to enjoy the fresh air of the country. What makes this property unique, are the Saltillo floors, the hallways with rustic wooden pillars and the gardens with adobe-style fireplaces. However, since the bathrooms didn’t have the necessary privacy and the bathtub was way below the standard, we designed something more private. We changed the bathtub location and under it we put river rocks that we got nearby. For the floors, we opted for something more modern: dark ceramic tile and rustic style showers. We built some lighted niches with dimmers to create a spa atmosphere. This bathroom has the perfect ambiance for relaxation: exterior sinks (porcelain pedestals over a concrete platform and rustic wooden beams), faucets and water spouts on the wall, rustic wooden shelves under the sink for towels, natural baskets and decorative flowers. The finish of the walls is faux gray.

The wall where the TV is placed is pained with Dark Burgundy 2075-10 Benjamin More, creating a contrast between the two other light colors of the room. In this space, the sofas are upholstered with leather in a dark brown color, ceramic floors with rustic wood designs, rustic finis on the center table, a floor to roof window, cornice covered with velvet on metallic studs around it, silk floor to roof curtains, chimney covered in rock. The decorative accessories of the organic kind, cotton, fresh flowers, fresh fruit.
